The Kiss
His girl’s amorous, uninhibited.
She flirted with his friends turning them red
though she was all in, never gibbeted.
He’d been away a stretch, her arms outspread.
Her lips like sunrise sky — bright, bittersweet.
Her lashes are sun rays dyed with black ink.
The pounding of pavement — his eager feet
stumbled which she thought cute, gave him a wink.
She dived right in and sucked his bottom lip.
There probably was tongue, a lover's swish.
His friends talked about it. It made them flip.
If one of them had knocked first, get his wish.
And talking them through it (on his last nerve),
his girlfriend’s kiss was not first come first serve.
