The Inspirational Muse of a Poet
Does my muse actually influence the ones who appreciate poetry?
I would say that I hope with all I am that it does and much more.
I often wonder if they think my words are a true reflection of me.
Is it really how I freely express myself that they seem to adore?
I am the intense poetess who wishes to set their hearts free,
be a woman who helps create a balanced Poetry Soup community.
May my sonnets inspire those who are drowning in desperation,
my verses of metaphors on love bestow hope for romance.
For it definitely does matter when one gifts such inspiration
unto others who have high hopes their affection does enhance.
It’s true that each poem is seen through individual interpretation,
I pray that the world sees its significance with a clear revelation.
I know personally reading rhymes sends chills down my spine.
When an aria of resounding rhythm peaks my heart does smile.
For there is always hope in words of motivation and divine
truth of self-expression in each poet’s own personal style.
May together we become unified and our hearts entwine,
as we embrace harmony’s breaths of poetry’s beautiful design.
I think the world needs to open thier minds to see the accord...
that poetry does provide when a poet's heart is outpoured.
