The Impossible Dream

yesterday running on empty and
thoughts of the end of the road
for one sweet day with reflection
I will survive

in the midnight hour in dreams
blown in the wind
with changes and more
the spirit in the sky whispers

oh what a feeling knowing
I'm a believer being a free bird
from a distance God only knows
its possible evermore

what a wonderful world
when you wish upon a star
its time to pretend yet hold
the impossible dream
