The Hounds of Hellebore
I settle not
within the belly
of the tempest
nor shall I surrender
to the hounds of hellebore
foreshadowing the darkest whims
I can only bare to think are mine once more
unbound in drowning night.
For upon my breast I must attest
a luminary’s heart shall fight
forevermore.
