Part Two -- To be written.... this year...
New Note, ( 2-06-2020: This old poem was never finished.
Soon I will begin composing part two to conclude this old fragment.
Forty-two years flown by now and I am hoping I get to complete this old fragment.
New Note, ( 2-18-2020)
Part two now written and presented.
I have decided this tribute needs to be composed in three
parts. So I have now further tasked myself to at a later
date--finally finish this piece that was started in 1978.
My muse demands I do this and in a way it grieves me so.
Sometimes I think Poe and Raven are both playing a game
with me...... Part Three To Come.....
The Hero, Raven, Poe And First Encounter,
Part Two , Of Three, Dedicated To Master Poe
Dying massive suns, exploding black moons,
loaded guns, death arriving far too soon.
Anguish, oozing pain, sad pitiful cries
rotting remains, under pallid grey skies,
Crimson puddles shine, blacken flesh decays
monstrous monsters dine, by tag-team relays.
Bones broken in a crush, blades cutting deep
dark in mighty rush, death's eternal sleep.
Hell and horror combine, liquid black pours
demons opine, on heartaches weeping scores,
Crimson puddles shine, blacken flesh decays
monstrous monsters dine, by tag-team relays.
Shadow warriors dance, as red blood flows
here lies no romance, end only Fate knows.
Caverns deep and wide, chains at the ready
nowhere to hide, wicked tortures steady
Crimson puddles shine, blacken flesh decays
monstrous monsters dine, by tag-team relays.
Seventh level all black, mercy not found
scorpions attack, innocent souls bound.
There in darkest room, where Master Poe lies
amidst swirling gloom, where agony flies
Crimson puddles shine, blacken flesh decays
monstrous monsters dine, by tag-team relays.
Raven's ghastly calls sent, all creatures obey
no dissent, where pitiless pain holds sway.
Decades fly by, Raven taunts Master Poe
mystery as to why, such hatred grows
Crimson puddles shine, blacken flesh decays
monstrous monsters dine, by tag-team relays.
Bright sky above, hides apathy below
gone Life and Love, as Raven runs its show
Dark power weds, heartache's sweet agony
blood red beds, soak under hate's canopy
Crimson puddles shine, blacken flesh decays
monstrous monsters dine, by tag-team relays.
