A re-take of my last poem "Hell is Going With Him" . . .
Listen to poem:
Relentless, empowering, with so many mountains to climb
Remorseless destruction, given on those, who idle around
Youthful years spent wasted on anger never worth its time
Pursued by an evilness, until we're all driven underground
Creating their own communities, living within another hell
In lawless societies that exist with neither a God, or belief
Each held within its own prison with no one to hear, or tell
Each with a rage; if left un-checked, on others will release
So
What lies beneath that our own God, has been suppressing
When we rear up, un-leasing, un-surmountable aggression
Under a disguise to show us we are just in fact progressing
This being a part of God’s plan, made at His own discretion
When; only faith will keep us together wherever we may be
Where the divides of good and evil out play their own parts
Could we ever see a newer life where just once we are free
No, not ‘till we are rid of this evil, that lies within our hearts
