The Heart of Imagination
Shaking off the loneliness with words.
Stripped down to my innocence; pulsating
streams of consciousness, no longer unheard.
Dipping my pen into the heart, awaiting
some inspiration to start creating.
Imagination shared and words exchanged.
Emotions perused and rearranged.
Breathing new life, replenishing the soul,
My voice has returned, a deafening change
from yesterday. Oh, what the silence stole!
