The Heart of a Hopeful Romantic
From afar I watch in silence
And long to capture the rapture
Of your stunning blinding beauty
Both now and forever after
My aching heart now lost at sea
A castaway that passed away
The very moment that I saw you
Your face still taunts me every day
If I could only find the courage
To be so bold and take a hold
Of your warm soft hand in mine
And let new memories unfold
'Cause every second without you
Is a mortal sin but until then
A romantic I'll ever be
Trapped within this lonely fragile skin
