The Hat

All of a sudden, I saw it I was kneeling on the floor. A hat that came from nowhere But one I’d seen before It floated in the air, it hovered For a second, I was bothered Then I knew without a doubt Whose head that it had covered It was my grandfather’s hat And I remembered it well As it rested, I touched it But in the hurry, I fell I finally had it I tried to place on my head But the hat wouldn’t budge It went away instead I’m not sure what it meant If it was real or just a dream But I knew I’d had a visit Was someone watching out for me Hi Pop
