At the coffee shop I go there every day I go there often There I sit alone Having my coffee It is here I see You sitting alone With your gadget Having your coffee I was sitting near You did not see me My heart skipped a beat I thought you heard You were not aware That I was near As I sat with my coffee I pondered my thoughts What it would be like To get to know you

Such a cool maybe poem, Darlene. Friendship anticipation is a wonderful feeling ... if it leads to more, all the better. Meeting someone new, allows us to revisit our true selves again. A truly fine poem written w/heartfelt honesty. Love and smiles always.

Freddie, I only met him twice and do not know his name. Nor does he know mine, he never asked me. So i do not think he is interested in me. But i would settle for a good male friend, until I am found by the right person for me. Peace and Love Always.

All you need to do is get his attention if he is a regular at the coffee shop, ask him a simple question, maybe make it about the coffee, and see what happens. ; ) I enjoyed the sweet emotion in your poem Darlene!
