Notes About The Poem

The Green Archway

A verdant archway, a long tunnel of trees,
With deep sunset colors filtering through,
In advance of cream moonlight treasures!
Birdsongs, whistles and cricket calls glide,
As evening drama opens amidst greenery.
Before night soon cascades tenderly down,
On a day like others, for beauty renowned!

Beautiful words to match the picture, Evelyn. With an entrance like that, I can just imagine the cozy cottage called home. Your friend from Texas, Bill
