The Great Battle

I've heard of a battle, and I know who will win. Let me fight for your side, in my heart please come in. I will suffer great pain, as your son did for me. I now offer you my soul, for this battle let me bleed. Both sides have their views, one good and one bad. The one never appreciated, all that he had. He never accepted the love, that the other did show. Now he slithers and crawls, stealing many lost souls. This battle will be long, it still goes on today. I'll do as you ask, in my heart always stay. I'm ready to fight, we'll make his foundations rattle. Let's do this together, and end this Great Battle.
