The Grass On the Other Side

To cross the river, he hiked a ride, grass was greener on the other side, He did this at the very peak of day, The cut yield would make better hay! The cattle quietly watched his routine, Eagerly awaited what he brought in, Eating was their natural birth right, oblivious to his aim-more beef weight! His care and love was not selfless, But had a more monetary purpose! Many a good deed that we all see Has a catch and never intention free!!

An extended and more explanatory text to explain the older blurred version. Exceptional. Will have to read more of your work to see if more you have clarified for me. Best regards David in NZ

Thanks David! We are all on a mission of discovery of the self and it’s relationship to the vast exterior. Introspection In my view, is the best tool. Please do read and comment on my writings. Best Wishes

Ah the darker side of those good deeds that many people don't see, or chose to ignore. Interesting write, Krish. Makes one think.

Yes, indeed. It is often a barter system of wants! Find a selfless person and you have a true friend. Thanks MA! Love your poetry!
