The Good the Bad the Special

THE GOOD… They say I am a dreamer and a true romantic fool Happiest living in my own little world though you are welcome too Extremely intuitive my sun in Pisces whilst loving the moon and the sea Gracious and kind to the human race all cruelty I abhor but compassion I adore Once your friend I will always be there in happiness and in despair Often put others before myself more important to me in the end Dedication and passion are emotions I share for all in need for all out there THE BAD… The tendency for me to strive toward complete perfection Having taken too much on I feel unable to say ‘No’ Emotions will run high as so sensitive and shy am I Blushing at the slightest thing just wanting to curl up and die Anxiety creeps inside of me taking over body and soul Draining my persona until it has nowhere to go THE SPECIAL… The special things in life for me I write down in my poetry Have always loved this planet and all the creatures on it Eternally I’ll always be right here for friends and family Smiles greet folk this brand new day lifting my soul and making their day Positive thinking no room for negativity ~ my glass is always full Emotions are worn upon my sleeve so to hug will always do it for me Could not survive for very long without music to sing my favourite songs I always say ‘I love you’ bidding loved ones adios and farewell Always give thanks at the end of each day for who knows it may be my last Life I never take for granted ~ so precious ~ so fragile ~ I treasure each day Written 20th February 2020 Contest GOOD; BAD; SPECIAL Sponsor Eve Roper 2nd Place Contest Strand Select W Sponsor Brian Strand HONORABLE MENTION
