The golden sunset drew me in
To gaze upon day's end beauty
Like a gentle fireplace fire when

With speed changed not like it had been
Orange flame to red almost sooty

I missed your POTD honor, Sara, as my computer was hacked and I'm putting pieces of thoughts back together. Your warm and lovely poem has its own golden glow, like the sunset. Congrats on POTD!

The way you brought those three elements out, sunsets color, fireplaces fire, and the colorization, then metaphorically characterized them. Nicely done! Great penning, Sara, a favorite of mine, now.
