The lighting- it was over-bright.
 
Oh, how I feared that eery glow!

The sky was luminous that night;

the lighting- it was over-bright.

And there it was!  Disk-shape in flight!

It spewed a neon lime-green flow!

Hi Sandra, i wish you well in the contest. Your Triolet sings on the theme. Now don't tell them I'm the one in the light, and that's on a good day. Sorry, couldn't resist Sandra. An excellent write as always. You keep the eerie feel all the way through. I like that you never give away what is there, you leave that to the readers imagination. It is always more sinister when you must use a little of your own imagination. A definite seven Sandra. Hugs....Mike. XX
