Listen to poem:
The lighting- it was over-bright. Oh, how I feared that eery glow! The sky was luminous that night; the lighting- it was over-bright. And there it was! Disk-shape in flight! It spewed a neon lime-green flow! The lighting- it was over-bright. Oh, how I feared that eery glow! June 15, 2016 Contest: Triolet - Old Or New Sponsor: Joseph May

A chilling poem Sandra. It’s human nature to be curious however fear tells us we need to be cautious. Beautifully crafted Sandra. Congratulations on your First Place win. Blessings xxoo

I found this very sinister, Sandra. You did wonders with that all-important sixth line, and there was good contrast in the sound you chose to end the second line. Congratulations on your second place win. Best wishes, Julia

Hi Sandra, i wish you well in the contest. Your Triolet sings on the theme. Now don't tell them I'm the one in the light, and that's on a good day. Sorry, couldn't resist Sandra. An excellent write as always. You keep the eerie feel all the way through. I like that you never give away what is there, you leave that to the readers imagination. It is always more sinister when you must use a little of your own imagination. A definite seven Sandra. Hugs....Mike. XX
