The Give and Take

My mistake with the give and take Is that I always took too much And now I know with the touch and go Not to go before I touch I have found through all the ups and down Just to enjoy life’s amazing ride And through it all; through the rise and fall Not to suffer from too much pride And what’s more, as with love and war Love should always take the prize And not the least, from beauty and the beast Beauty is in the beholder’s eyes It’s a fact that opposites attract Just like magnetic forces How can one tell if they passed or failed All of their life’s courses
