The Girl In the Green Dress
One friend and another
Play with each other
All around the house,
No one could
Ever tear them apart
The girl that is
Friends with your sibling
Has on a brilliantly
Green dress that is
Most dazzling in every way
And it is on the tip
Of your tongue
Where you have seen
That dress before
And you remember
The picture of the girl,
The last ever taken of her
In that same green dress
And then we knew she was
From the house of the dead
