The gilded leaves of Autumn sigh-
their velvet green has vanished now.
They miss sweet Summer's lullaby;
warm breeze caressing every bough.
Their velvet green has vanished now,
replaced by golds and burnished glow.
Warm breeze caressing every bough-
bring memory from long ago.
Replaced by golds and burnished glow,
they shake in the cool Autumn breeze.
Bring memory from long ago-
those balmy nights on moonlit trees.
They shake in the cool Autumn breeze-
they miss sweet Summer's lullaby,
those balmy nights on moonlit trees;
the gilded leaves of Autumn sigh.
