The Gift

To think, that fine gem,
made just for me! Though the oyster,
more occupied with merely surviving.
Little thought of lustrous possibility
it possessed, and what could come
from a grain of sand. No strand assembled
without a lot of heartfelt, wishful prying.
What started a lone speck of love? Each portrait
a priceless reminder. Merry Christmas!

Only through slow and painful evolution, a grain of sand turns into a priceless gem. The oyster must have never thought of such a possibility while focusing only on its survival. So there are such hidden possibilities in life. Great thoughts dear Joe.
