The Gift

Into this world there stepped a King, in humble manner a gift to bring. He walked this earth some thirty year, to point the way for them that hear. Rejected by his own, they threw away the cornerstone. Betrayed by a kiss was he, made to die upon a tree. A crown of thorns he bore our blame, his father's face he hid in shame. No greater love can there be found, than that which fell to Calvary's ground. Each drop he bled to save mankind, the key to kingdom left behind. They placed his body in the ground, in three days none was found. He rose to heavens on angel's ride, and took his seat at Father's side. 9/23/18
