The Game of Beauty I Don'T Want To Play
Why do we play this competition
Is it any indication
How bad the world has become
Image used to judge someone
On their outward appearance
Instead of giving them a chance
To prove their beauty from within
It is such a sorrow sin
That image is so highly praised
Someone really needs to raise
Their voice all across the land
And take an important stand
That outside image shouldn't be
Used to judge the quality
Who a person really is
We need to get over this
Don't be hooked by dolled up faces
And clothes from hot fancy places
Thinking they are better than
Somebody who really can't
Afford material things
They might be angels with wings
Hidden under dirt and grime
Waiting for a chance to shine
Noticed for a whole lot more
Than what is bought inside a store
