The Forgotten Sheep

The forgotten sheep, all alone, it's coat all dark with shame, guilt, it used to be pure, white, soft as silk, now is filthy, matted, sharp to the touch, for its master hasn't loved her since joining their flock. The forgotten sheep, all alone, wandering aimlessly around the thorn filled field, trying to avoid being stuck in the foot, it's eyes filled with despair, hangs her head, no smile she shows, for there is nobody to see it, everyone else has their own life to lead. The forgotten sheep, has lost her Shepard, sits alone under a tree, hoping to catch some shade, it hears a joyous sound of singing, coming from its once loved sisters, oh how she longs t be accepted, forgiven, for she is only human, but to no dismay, only silence, tears, does she feel, around her soul, where she will go from here, we will never know... The forgotten sheep, has laid down for the very last time, no more strength, does she have, she's dug her own grave, waiting to die, her heavenly Father no tears He shed, maybe her sisters were right after all, there is happiness in death, good-by everyone, I've reached the end...
