The Forgiver's Ditch
I understand, you were lonely and needed a wife
but you also brought a young witch into my life.
She didn't have a pointy hat nor ride a burning broom
Just a pair of green eyes that deeply etched my doom.
She was clever and hid her temper very well
but when you left to make ends meet
that was the beginning of my hell.
Her talons fit perfectly into my little cheek
and that devil's belt was always revving at full speed!
Father, was the attraction true love or was it just pure lust
One thing I can say, for certain, my childhood was a bust,
but I've tossed most of the bitter into the forgiver's ditch
but make no mistake dear stepparent, karma is a prick.
