The Feet Do Not Lie
The feet do not lie
They told us in my first counseling class
I wrote it down
Circled it several times
Drew a couple of flowers and
Some stars around it.
Stared at this advice for days.
Tried to understand what it meant.
What it could do for me.
How do you read foot?
It popped up in the morning sometimes
As my first thought upon waking.
What did it mean?
How could it help me?
What could I do with this vast nugget of knowledge?
Here is the problem.
I do not speak “feet”.
