The Fear of Intimacy

Author Dana Redricks January 22, 2017 I want to make you part Of my world reveal things To you no one knows Tell you how I can’t wait See your radiant face that fills this place as I escape into ecstasy oh, how I long to be free to escape this fear that is hindering me a wall of imprisonment the feeling of a love I never knew What a horrible way to exist living a life of emptiness

Dana, I feel your fear. Once we have been hurt and lied to, it becomes very difficult to trust again. Fear of intimacy is real, and yes it does leave one feeling lonely. To defeat it, you must let go of the past. Easier said than done! Great write!
