The Fate of a Crimson Rose
A budding beauty,
Like flowers in bloom.
So fragrant shines,
To light up the room.
With velvet petals,
And supple stems.
Young pistil's splendor,
Are wonderous gems.
As a crimson rose,
Oh maiden fair.
Will flourish long,
With love and care.
But the die is cast,
No grand illusion.
At last will suffer,
A withered conclusion.
