The Essence Of
...and still to me, the essence of every thing we see...
So much of, that we're all part of, and so we're to be
And How do we Relate, in an understandable state
The questioning of morals, and the unanswered faith...
We are all, in the possession of, and this we know
To that which is above, and as we are below,
Within the skies, and further, As far as the star gazes a glow,
Beyond our minds, within our hearts, where only spirits dear follow
Where a wish to be, but cannot see, nor negate to go...
And why won't we, allow ourselves the knowledge to know?
The words that we speak, the questioning of, seemingly deep
The answer of, and usually this, sometimes a hit, sometimes a miss.
To be with, in the form of the abstract
This is the essence of, a protector, a warrior, an unconscious fact...
As is kind, gentle, and still yet stern, as we can learn,
All essences of the simple, and also the firm.
As within to see, and may be we, have that fiery start
May be we hold definitively, that tempered spark
Illumination of day, the night can show, this tempered wrath.
I look to this with honor, and seek my respect
To gain from this, wisdom, strength, and within my step.
I pull on this aspect, of the All to protect...
To strengthen my life, in order to do what I need
So I can, in turn, protect against, unsavory greed
The all, and also, the playfulness of our inner glow
And most likely, our sexuality, that we all secretly know.
But note, these are simply my words, and a mindful quote
My individuality, a thought, as it changes with time
As we live, the divinity, ours to see, in words of this kind
