The Equality of One
All things being equal
which they never are
Or there'd be only one notch
For the level of the bar
Yet the equality of difference
Oh the beauty of its scope
Allows us all a hand grasp
On the upper rungs of hope
Free from fearful concepts
Proffered by the priest
Offering inclusion
Banning beggars from the feast
Sweet dreams of sacred unicorns
With flowing rainbow manes
Creeping from the shadows
Dancing without reins
Ah, the freedom of the moment
Joyful unfettered run
The painful celebration of
The equality of one
