The Edge of My Reason
Two young hearts on the lap of dreamy night
Sink merged in silver shimmer of the full moon
When from the alien cloud dark shadows alight
I reach the edge of my reason.
We build nests with parental love and care
Children grow ready to face alone every season
When they get wings like birds they fly away far
I reach the edge of my reason.
I stretch out by instinct my humanitarian hand
Help those from depth of distress need to be drawn
When their ungrateful memory takes harsh stand
I reach the edge of my reason.
You wonder how the universe evolved so uniquely
Where cosmic particles came from for the creation
When existence of the creator you defy so wrongly.
I reach the edge of my reason.
