The Earth Trembled

The earth trembled that day, The clattering sounds fused With crying sounds Could be heard from miles away, The fear etched on the faces of many The screams of pain resounding While they scramble to safety Tramping each other in the process It is impossible to escape Without being traumatized Left with visible and invisible scars Those lucky enough to be alive Relay tales of horror With loved ones missing And many still ensnared beneath buildings and debris…

Although many are lost in these eruptions of our surface, you have to marvel at her power. Nature excites me to no end, and we will never tame her, only live beside her. Another wonderful poem Wilma >> James

VERY good, WIlma, this description here. please call it something else, not light poetry, dear. For me "light" implies not serous. This is deeper than that! If you can relate to my Mind lock poem, I hope you will read my blog, Wilma! And how nice to find someone who can relate to my Pre thing. hahaha. (Methinks very few on Soup are in that category) Luv, Andrea
