The Dreamer
It all starts with a spark,
Then bursts into a flame.
You see the road ahead,
As it's calling out your name.
You're lost inside a dream,
It's a dream that never ends.
But you're ridiculed each day,
By your family and friends.
All the scars that you carry,
From the battles that you fight.
And the knowledge that you've gained,
From the lessons of your plight.
Your success is only won,
Through devotion and drive.
And the obstacles you leap,
Is what keeps the dream alive.
Each step brings you closer,
To the goal you desire.
And the path laid before you,
Illuminated by your fire.
No one else can see your light,
They've got nothing good to say.
Most people search for dreams,
But then turn and walk away.
