The Devonian

The Devonian was 359 million years ago Also known as the age of fish, though the plants and animals adapted to land It all happened by God's mighty hand The fishes didn't have jaws They had a lot of survival flaws But as animals do, they evolved And their survival problems got solved But then all species began to die On the ground, grave-less they lie 87% of all species faced extinction There was nowhere they could run They were gone with the Carboniferous's rising sun
