The Devil Loves a Do-Gooder

The devil loves a do-gooder, One who expects everyone to come to order, Because their vision is much broader. The devil loves those with good intention, As they are likely to have a poor sense of direction, Which could lead to an insurrection. The devil loves those who rely on a faulty compass, Who hang around campus, To make sure everyone catches the same bus.

Hey David! Thanks for sharing your awesome poems. I'm currently preparing for my year 11 English exam. The standard is about writing 3 essays about 3 different texts; Narrative Prose, Fiction, and Poetry! I'm eternally grateful for sharing your talent online because of this it makes me more confident reading and analysing poems. Wish you all the best and I'm looking forward to read your new posts!
