The Devil Having His Favorites

Including their own righteousness,
politicians can convince us and
themselves of almost anything –

that the world is truly flat –

they walk us to the edge…

demand that 
we stare down into the abyss…

full of asps, coiled to strike –

incurable viruses and lethal 
colors of racial division, these
are the bread-and-butter of 
evil – insatiable individuals
with lust for power and control 
over the destinies of subordinate 
others, 

the lemonade and 
ice tea of fiery journeys driven 
by ruthless ambition – 

and the Devil,
having his favorites will reward
them well, their name-plates
over gold plated furnaces
in hell….

So, the leaders we have, the earth quakes, the deceases, etc. are all products of consciousness. We get back what we put out. The very ground we walk upon is a product of consciousness -- a portrait of where we are on the path of spiritual evolution creating our own physical environment. No good father wants his children to be anything less than he is -- if anything, he wants for them more. We just, as of yet, do not know the full extent of our power and responsibilities.

Don't know that you will ever see that -- for now, I would settle if more decent people were voted into office. Radicals are going to do everything in their power to assure that the next election will be froth with corruption. It will be doozy; especially if vote-in ballots are not stopped. I know it is a blessing for those shut in -- but the opportunity for illegalities is overwhelming. You will have states like N.Y. and California with more ballots cast than there are registered voters. Then they will start riots afterwards demanding to eliminate the Electoral College, claiming the election was stolen and the popular vote should rule.
