The Devil Dances

I’m not quite sure how to start. She took that piece of my heart. I know what I said, And I stand by the words bled. Men are monsters, I think that’s a truth. But the devil dances, she guides with how she moves. You’re lost in a daze Entranced by a gaze. You’ll be burned down if you stay in the blaze. And it’s easy to do when you’re stuck in a haze. The devil dances, the devil sways. No second chances for her prey. You can’t see coming the bite You can’t get ready for the fight. It starts in the heart when feelings excite But it ends with broken lonely nights. It happens to be a very sharp knife When someone steps in and leaves with part of your life. The devil sways in beautiful dances. The devil dwells in shattered romances.
