The Days of Spring
The days of spring are here.
Now more and more I’ll go
outside to feel sun’s glow.
There also will appear
new birds to bring me cheer.
And, oh, the grass to mow!
In just one month I’ll see
my roses bloom anew,
and in my front yard too -
so wonderful to me -
with lovely gowns, each tree
will make a grand debut.
From end of March through June -
sweet nights come with spring’s moon!
