The Damsel Saved Herself - Cl

Her plight a tragic tale of woe
Confined to solitary cell
She cried because she didn't know
If folks would ever know her hell

One night it happened that she fell
It seemed at first a mortal blow...
Yet daily she recovered well
~ Released to wedding bells, she glowed
