The Cornerstone of Life
THE CORNERSTONE OF LIFE
Buildings must have cornerstones
So must each man's life
Those for buildings are made by man
But the one stone for your life is Christ
Buildings are constructed
To withstand the storms that pass
Those with poor foundations
Never seem to last
If you are truly anchored
In the Cornerstone of life
You can stand the storms of time
And overcome your strife
Jesus Christ supplies our needs
If we but seek His face
With Jesus as your Cornerstone
You'll surely win the race
So anchor fast in solid rock
And you'll always be sure
With Jesus as your Cornerstone
Your foundation is secure
You'll never have to worry
When life is tempest tossed
The seas may rage and billow
But you will not be lost
Stand firm on your foundation
For you are not alone
And tell the world around you
Christ is your Cornerstone
