Notes About The Poem

The Connection

Breathing laughter across my naked heart Gentling my wild caress with a kind flow Whispering light, leaving me all aglow Loosening my hope, beautiful as art Clearing my senses with soft affection Electrifying my soul with sweet dreams Brightening my thoughts, arousing sunbeams Raining joy on this tender connection Publishing rare, racing feelings of love Likened to thrills of pure, sincere passion Beliefs so rare they are called old fashion Heartfelt desires that I’ll not let go of Through the dark, cloudy skies or summer sun These warm feelings promise you’re with someone Summer Love Sonnet poetry contest Sponsored by John Hamilton May 5, 2021

Hello - How beautiful is this entry, very. I found it to be in true poetic form voice and flow. In essence poetry in true fashion. It was an honor to read this entry. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes for the contest.
