The Concert

The Concert By Franklin Price 6/3/2015 The pounding of the base drum Rhythm of the tambourine Spotlights shining overhead Lighting something never seen Balanced on a surfboard Riding waves up in the sky Across the venue hanging ten The star thinks he can fly A familiar song he's singing Or is what I'm hearing just a shout If the cable breaks that's holding him He'll soon be wiping out He is now approaching And is landing on the stage The crowd below is screaming Have worked themselves into a rage There was much more to the concert But the surfing was the best If I had paid my money just for that I could have missed out on the rest

Franklin, the only thing I don't like about concerts happens to be all the inbetweeners and before the punch line. This was a fine poem to read. the arrangements rocked louder than the rage that hits a concert. SKAT
