The Comfort of the Autumn Breeze
when the shadows hover
and you feel lost in sight,
remember I am near to
help you see the light-
if you shall ever fear the
darkness of the night,
know I am by your side,
making everything alright.
for there was a time
when I was in your shoes,
when I would worry to
play the game and lose-
but I will be your strong
compassion if you choose,
take away that heartache,
steal your wicked blues.
so come to me with complete
and honest ease,
I promise I will calm you,
your anxiety will cease-
I shall make you take
comfort in the Autumn breeze,
and show you the kindness
only a good woman sees.
