The Cock Crows in the Morning

The cock crows in the morning
The alarm clock of the day
Get your asses out of bed
Hear what he has to say
The world turns on its axis
It still happens naturally
The sun's on the horizon
Light and warmth for you and me
Shake your feathers with me
Clear your throat and have a crow
Let the Lord know you have risen
And you wanted him to know
That you thank Him for the new day
That you're glad you're still around
That you heard my crow that wakened you
Such a weird but awesome sound
If my crowing to awaken you
Was the worst part of your day
Thank the Lord, again, when the sun goes down
That's really all I have to say
