Very interesting Monoku. You asked a question on my poem about Purple Phlox. I don't see Monarchs here much but they could be there and I miss them. The Phlox plant is a native plant and there are improved varieties to purchase. They have a tubalar throat which Hummingbirds and Butterflies and the Hummingbird Moth seem to enjoy. The Phlox is similiar to wild honey suckle in shape but is in clusters at the end of a stem. Sara

Oh wow....that is so true. I do that too...I notice youth, I also realize how I didn't appreciate it enough when I was one of them...we take youth so for granted until it has passed us by. Great monoku!!

Great monoku James! I'll be 50 next month, and I have enjoyed every minute of retrospect and hindsight, and look forward to what lies ahead. I too enjoy watching the youth, the other day one of my grandsons listened to Joe's stomach rumbling, asking what is that? Before Joe could answer, my grandson said: "I think I hear a fart coming" gotta love em!-AA
