The Christmas Story
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem,
in the days of Herod the king.
Behold there came three wise men,
from the east with great gifts to bring.
The star the wise men followed,
from the east so brightly had shown.
To a stable these wise men it guided,
finally resting above God's very own.
On this night, crisp and cold, in a manger,
the Christ child lay asleep in the hay.
With this wondrous event this gift of life,
God, provided for man's sin today.
