The Children of Gaza

            Our tortured children
            where tomorrow brings hell
            Contempt and hatred
            slaughter and death sentence
            - nameless graves
            Acts of war that resonate

            Stumbling over yesterday's corpse
            who experienced the greatest pain of man
            Life without gain or balm
            Children born in the groans of sorrow
            their life begins with hunger, trauma and death
            A place where lullabies don't sound
