The Child Hasn't Grown Up Yet
THE CHILD HASN'T GROWN UP YET
Nature so pure and so pristine
In God’s own land so divine
In a child born with mind empty
Beauty finds a place so dainty
Encased in a frame of innocence
Of real world’s nature it has no sense.
The flowers blooming in a child’s smile
Reflect in flawless mirror so fragile
Can’t be kept unbroken for long
In the time’s traction so strong.
In the world changing so fast
Nothing simple for long lasts.
Child before time becomes adult
Loss of innocent mind is the result.
With my naivety I’m happy, not upset
The child in me hasn’t grown up yet.
