The Cherished Memory of Romantic Nights
Summer's evenings
are a distant memory
of cherished romantic nights,
nothing is sweeter than tenderness;
wouldn't the fullest moon
show its brilliance were we embracing?
Wouldn't the radiant stars
peak and sparkle more from joy...
seeing us passionately kissing
and grant us a boon?
Surrendered by shadows,
captured by the undulating waves:
very peaceful, at times restless and capricious,
they set the perfect feeling in us...
freeing our minds from the frightful darkness.
Every recollection of cherished, romantic nights
is in themselves a nostalgic wish taking us
back to where this romance grew,
where a rose-scented breeze blew.
