To be honest, my bones prefer a fan over air-conditioner. Not quite as cool...but pleasant enough. Especially on hot evenings.

so true, and when ours broke, we got a new one at Home Depot. it's been five years and my hubbie refuses to take it out of the package and hang it for me. He is so dang lazy!! and then he keeps complaining how hot the bedroom is. MEN!

Those ceilings fans do help us to get rest. Can you imagine before electricity, some would be fanned over, others would do the fanning.

- It's really rare I experience too hot bedroom ... (in my country) ... not even in the summer ... even if it is on the first floor we can have the windows fully open, Darlene - hugs

Hello Sunshine Smile, Norway does not have hot humid summers? Yes we can also open a window, yet when it is humid the ceiling fan is used to keep cool. Hugs.
