The Can Fills, the Can Empties

"THE CAN FILLS, THE CAN EMPTIES" my mentor said: “everything repeats.” my mentor said: “there is always one woman to save you from another and as that woman saves you, she makes ready to destroy you.” I kicked my last whore to the curb. an ex-girlfriend from over a decade ago messaged me. there’s been silence between my ex and I. the ex that returned talks to me every mo- ment she can. my current ex just messaged me through the phone and wrote, “I hate you!” the ex from the past just called me on the phone and said, “I love you, I miss you. I want to see you already.” my mentor knew his game. I drink, I type. play by play and it’s beautifully glorious. By: Chicano Eddie
